trail of footprints

Pada means foot or part of a poem and implies a step or passage in the course of one's spiritual or holistic life. Padajna is to know these sacred footprints, and pada-viya is the trail left by the pada journey.

I would not think to touch the sky with two arms -Sappho, fragment 52

Me: witchy, feminist, circus girl, art, curating, writer, photographer, maker of herbal tinctures and the likes, reading poetry, studying dreams, exploring forests, reading tea leaves, watching birds, talking to the moon.

One of my favorite things to do is to meditate by the water. The smell of the ocean and sound of the waves crashing on the shore always put my mind at ease.
To release stress & worries, I arrange shells that I’ve collected on the beach in a counter-clockwise spiral. Every time I place a shell I think of a worry or negative thought that I would like to release. When I feel the spiral is complete, I meditate and wait for the tide to come in.
As I watch the ocean carry away the shells, I can feel my worries & stress being washed away with them. This is a wonderful way to clear your mind!
Peace, Love & Magick

I took the photo above on the beach at Winter Island in Salem, Ma. I brought a few crystals to cleanse in the salt water so they will be ready for me to use on the next Full Moon.

I adore this idea, it’s georgous. I wish we had sea shells like that available in Lake Ontario/Toronto beaches (no such luck).

We could do pepples, or something local (besides garbage) …
